Police Recover Stolen Firearm Following Assault Arrest in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A confrontation in Northwest results in the arrest of a man after he brandished a firearm at another individual. The incident occurred on April 2 at 2:46 p.m. in the Unit block of N Street.

Following a verbal altercation, the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Daniel Nathaniel Anthony of Northwest, pointed a handgun at the victim and then fled on foot. D.C. Metro Police Department officers were quick to respond, successfully apprehending Anthony and recovering the stolen firearm.

Anthony faces multiple charges including Assault with Dangerous Weapon (gun), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Pistol without a License, and Receiving Stolen Property. The D.C.
