Police Report Vehicle Fire in Hurlock

HURLOCK, MD – A vehicle fire occurred on Tuesday at 4:24 PM at the intersection of Gravel Branch Road and Millington Road, involving a 2019 Volkswagen passenger car.

The Hurlock Volunteer Fire Department responded with 15 firefighters and controlled the blaze within 15 minutes. The fire, which originated in the passenger compartment, is currently under investigation.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. However, the vehicle was declared a total loss, with damages estimated at $30,000.
