Police Said Woman Killed in Baltimore Failed to Stop at Red Light

BALTIMORE, MD – An 81-year-old woman was killed after she failed to stop at a traffic light, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police said on Tuesday, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the driver of a 2000 Ford E-150 van failed to stop for a red traffic light at the intersection of Ebenezer and Philadelphia Roads. ‘

“The van, that was traveling north on Ebenezer Road, struck the rear of a stopped 2011 Ford F-150, which was pushed into the rear of a stopped 2017 Polaris Slingshot, which was pushed into the rear of a stopped 2018 Jeep Compass,” police said. “Three people were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.”

The driver of the van, 81-year-old Bernadette Beres Stundick, was pronounced deceased at an area hospital.
