TEMPLE HILLS, MARYLAND — A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in a double fatal shooting that took place Friday night in Prince George’s County, leaving two men dead and a third injured, police said.

Marc Carter, of Temple Hills, is accused of murdering 32-year-old Antonio Magruder of District Heights and 56-year-old Darrell Mason of Suitland during a shooting in the 4000 block of Silver Hill Road, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 10:30 p.m. on March 28, where they found Magruder inside a business with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Mason was located in a vehicle nearby and later died from his injuries at a hospital.
A third man was also shot during the incident. His injuries were described as not life-threatening.
Investigators said Carter was known to at least one of the victims, though the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
Carter faces two counts each of first- and second-degree murder along with additional charges. He is currently being held without bond by the Department of Corrections.
