Police Search for Missing 12-Year-Old Boy in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police has issued an alert for a missing 12-year-old boy, Taeshawn Battles, who was last seen on March 13. Described as being 5’3” tall and weighing 110 pounds, Taeshawn has brown eyes, black short twists, and is likely wearing a head wrap.

Taeshawn did not return home from Westinghouse School on Tuesday, prompting concerns for his safety. He is known to frequent areas in East Hills, Liberty Green Park, and near Obama School.

The Special Victims Unit (SVU) detectives are leading the search efforts and urge anyone with information about Taeshawn’s whereabouts to come forward. Individuals with any information can contact the police at (412) 323-7141 or dial 9-1-1 immediately.
