STATEN ISLAND, NY—A 14-year-old girl, Aniya Barriga, has been reported missing from her home at Vedder Avenue. She was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 6:20 PM,
Aniya’s disappearance has prompted police plea for public assistance.
Described as a black female, Aniya is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and sneakers colored white, black, and red.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in locating Aniya.
