Police Searching for Couple Who Stole from Home Depot, Assaulted Employee

NORTH WINDHAM, CT (PRESS RELEASE) – On Thursday, August 19, 2022, at approximately 4:00 PM, two individuals entered the Home Depot store, located in North Windham. The two individuals depicted in the images filled up a shopping cart with merchandise and allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying. A store employee attempted to prevent the individuals from exiting the store with the merchandise and a struggle ensued, resulting in a minor injury to the employee.

The suspects were seen leaving the store in an gray, Toyota Sienna minivan, displaying a Connecticut license plate. Anyone with information regarding the identities or whereabouts of these individuals is asked to contact Trooper McCormack at Troop K in Colchester, at (860)465-5400.
