Woman in burgundy wig among suspects in DC robbery

Washington, DC – Police are investigating a robbery that took place just before 2 a.m. Friday in the 4300 block of Wheeler Road SE, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigators said five female suspects are being sought in connection with the crime. The suspects are described as Black females between 5’6” and 5’8” in height, ages 20 to 40, with one wearing a curly burgundy wig, an orange dress, and a black ski mask.

The group fled after the robbery. No injuries have been reported at this time, and detectives are continuing to review the circumstances.
