Police Searching For South Orange Man Wanted for Newark Burglary

NEWARK, NJ – Have you seen Patrice Lawrence Golden of South Orange? If so, the police in Newark are looking for him.

According to Interim Newark Public Safety Director Raul Malave, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Patrice Lawrence Golden, 29, of South Orange, who is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Monday, June 27, 2022.

“At approximately 1:30 a.m., Police responded to a residence at Kenmore Avenue near Vail Street on a call of a burglary. The victim reported a break-in to the home, with the suspect removing electronics, cell phones, credit and debit cards, and clothing,” police said. “Detectives investigating this incident have identified Golden as a suspect and request the public’s help in locating him as part of their investigation.”

He is described as 6’1” tall and 180 pounds, with a medium brown complexion, a dread loc hairstyle, and brown eyes.
