Police searching for Staten Island gas station armed robbery suspect

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a robbery at a gas station located at 4472 Amboy Road, within the 122 Precinct’s jurisdiction. The robbery occurred on Sunday, at approximately 7:00 a.m.

According to the police report, the unidentified individual entered the gas station, lifted his sweatshirt to display what appeared to be a firearm, and demanded money from a store employee. The employee complied, and the suspect fled the scene on St. Albans Place with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a male, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray facemask. The NYPD urges anyone with information about the suspect to come forward and help in the ongoing investigation.
