Police Searching for Vehicle That Passed Stopped School Bus in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT – State police in Fairfield are searching for a red SUV that passed a stopped school bus on Thursday. According to police at 3:10 pm, a red SUV with NY plates passed a stopped school bus with it’s red lights flashing. The incident happened on Route 37 southbound near Hardscrabble Road.

“We are releasing a still shot of the video camera from bus 7. We are working with First Student to get the video of the violation only, so no children are in the multi screen video. The video quality is better than the still shot,” police said. “If you’re familiar with this vehicle, please call New Fairfield PD 203 312 5701-Ofc Cassavechia.”
