Police Seek Identification of Suspect in Wawa Theft

ALLENTOWN, PA — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at a Wawa convenience store. On March 7, 2024, the individual in question entered the store located at 1501 Gordon Street, selecting various food items and a carton of Newport Cigarettes.

After asking for the cigarettes, the suspect forcibly took them from the clerk’s hand along with the food items and fled the scene. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a newer model black SUV, which appeared to lack a registration plate.

The Allentown Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect to contact them at 610-437-7721 or through TIP411. To send an anonymous tip via text message, individuals are instructed to use the keyword provided to 847411.
