Police seek stolen vehicle linked to Mt. Oliver drive-by shooting

MT. OLIVER, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are searching for a white 2009 Mazda CX9 connected to a drive-by shooting that occurred on the evening of December 7 in Mt. Oliver.

The vehicle, bearing Pennsylvania registration MFX-5807, was reported stolen from Scott Township prior to the shooting. Authorities say it was last seen near the scene of the incident around 9:30 p.m.

Investigators have not released additional details about the shooting or whether any injuries were reported. Police are urging the public to report sightings of the vehicle by calling 911 and to share any information about the case through the department’s tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.

The investigation remains ongoing as police work to locate the stolen vehicle and identify those responsible for the shooting.
