Police Seek Suspect in Daylight Robbery in Van Cortlandt Park South

NEW YORK, NY – A robbery occurred on Thursday, June 27, at approximately 2:00 PM at 146 Van Cortlandt Park South, where a 64-year-old individual was forcibly robbed of their necklace. The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on Van Cortlandt Park South.

The assailant is described as a male with a medium complexion, around 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was last observed wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, a burgundy long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident but declined medical treatment.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and are requesting anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation. The public is urged to contact local law enforcement with any relevant details that may lead to an arrest.
