Police seeking fugitive wanted for deadly shooting in Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA – Detectives are seeking information on the whereabouts of Cevan O. Pierce, 23, who has been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in connection with the shooting that left 18-year-old Antonio Wilson dead.

On April 8, around 3:35 p.m., officers were in the area of E. Virginia Beach Boulevard when they heard gunshots. The officers responded to 711 E. Virginia Beach Boulevard, where they found Wilson suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of Pierce. Anyone with information about Pierce’s whereabouts is encouraged to submit a tip at www.p3tips.com/1126. Norfolk Crime Line and the United States Marshals Service are cooperating in this effort.
