Police Seeking Suspect Who Shot into Group in Silver Spring

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District Investigative Section seeks the public’s help in identifying those involved in a shooting that transpired on Tuesday, August 1, at November Circle, Silver Spring.

Based on a preliminary investigation, around 4 p.m., a single male exchanged gunfire with a group of four males on the 1500 block of November Circle.

The individual male, attired in a white tank top, black shorts, white socks, and dark shoes, was seen fleeing towards April Lane. It’s believed he then entered a grey Honda Accord with heavy tinting which hastily exited the parking area.

Concurrently, the group, dressed in dark clothing, moved around a building on November Circle, fired an additional round, and proceeded towards the White Oak Recreation Center.

No injuries were reported, but a stray bullet did penetrate an empty apartment in the vicinity.
