Polk County Resident Claims $1 Million on Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The Florida Lottery announced today that Adam Wilson, a 39-year-old from Winter Haven, has won a $1 million top prize from THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ Scratch-Off game. Wilson opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Recker Highway in Winter Haven. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus commission of $2,000.

Launched in February, THE PRICE IS RIGHT Scratch-Off game features eight top prizes of $1 million and has more than 5.5 million winning tickets with over $79 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning stand at 1-in-4.00.

Scratch-Off games accounted for approximately 72 percent of ticket sales for the fiscal year 2022-2023 and have contributed more than $18.09 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) since their inception.
