Port Allegany Man Convicted of Assault and Harassment

MCKEAN COUNTY, PA – Tony McCormick, a resident of Port Allegany, was convicted of Simple Assault and Harassment on August 30, following a jury trial.

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced the conviction, which was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Coppolo.

The charges were filed by Foster Township Police after they were dispatched to a residence on December 2, 2022.

The victim reported being assaulted by McCormick, and officers observed marks on her face.

Officer Devin Grandinetti led the investigation on behalf of the Foster Township Police. McCormick is now awaiting sentencing.
