PORTSMOUTH, VA — A shooting incident in Portsmouth on Saturday morning resulted in a man sustaining gunshot wounds.
The Portsmouth Police Department arrived at the 900 block of Suburban Parkway near George Washington Highway after receiving reports of gunfire.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m.
The victim was promptly transported to a medical facility with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
