WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are investigating the discovery of possible human remains found in Northeast Washington.
Details remain limited, but on Friday afternoon, multiple officers were seen at the intersection of 44th and Brooks Street, close to Smothers Elementary School.
Crime scene tape has been placed in the parking lot behind a nearby apartment building as the investigation unfolds.
