Two $50K Powerball tickets sold in Brooklyn and Manhattan
New York, NY — Two lucky New York Lottery players are holding $50,000 winning Powerball tickets after Wednesday night’s drawing, officials announced Thursday.
The tickets, both third-prize winners from the September 24 drawing, were sold in Brooklyn and Manhattan. One came from Flat Gas & Mart, located at 7702 Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn. The other was purchased at Bono’s Deli, 35 East 28th Street in Manhattan.
Each ticket matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball, securing the $50,000 prize.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Numbers are drawn from one to 69 for the white balls and one to 26 for the red Powerball.
The New York Lottery, the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, contributed $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024–2025 to benefit public schools across the state.
