HYATTSVILLE, MD — A Prince George’s County man has started the new year in spectacular fashion, winning a $150,060 Keno prize thanks to a quick-pick ticket and the Super Bonus option.

The anonymous player, a loyal Maryland Lottery fan for six years, purchased his winning ticket at the Sunoco station on 4836 Kenilworth Avenue in Hyattsville. He chose an 8-spot quick-pick ticket for 20 drawings and added the Super Bonus option, which multiplied his prize fivefold during the fifth drawing when all of his numbers hit.

The prize marks his biggest Keno win, and he has no immediate plans for the windfall as he continues to process the life-changing amount.

The Sunoco station that sold the winning ticket earned a $1,500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery, equal to 1% of the prize, for selling a ticket worth $10,000 or more.
