From Council President Jennifer Kuhn – The township will not be hosting a special meeting on Thursday for the appointment of an interim CFO.

The township had a strict deadline from the state, to hold a special meeting to hire a CFO, which is why the meeting announcement went out.

Since then, the mayor has decided to appoint an interim CFO, which will be the shared service agreement with Barnegat.

That shared services agreement is effective tomorrow, pending approval from the Barnegat municipal government. This will remain in place until the regular council meeting on the 11th when the council will take action on the matter at the next scheduled public meeting.
