Public Works Trash Collector Shot in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — A Department of Public Works employee was shot while collecting trash in the 800 block of Allendale Street on the morning of May 17. Southwest District patrol officers, responding to the incident at approximately 10:51 AM, found that the 42-year-old male employee was shot by an unidentified assailant.

The injured worker was promptly transported to a nearby hospital by his colleagues using the DPW vehicle and is currently in stable condition.
