Purse Stolen from Elderly Woman at House of Worship in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY—A theft occurred at a house of worship located at 2992 Avenue S on Tuesday morning. An unidentified male entered the building around 11:05 AM and stole a purse that was left unattended by a 71-year-old female.

The purse contained credit cards, around $100 in cash, house keys, and various identification cards.

The suspect fled the scene on foot heading south on Batchelder Street. No injuries were reported following the incident. Authorities are seeking any information that could lead to the identification and capture of the suspect.
