Purse Swinging Attacker Puncture’s Woman’s Chest on NYC M Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Thursday, July 13, an assault incident was reported to the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn.

At approximately 2:00 pm, an unidentified woman targeted a 30-year-old woman on the northbound MTA ‘M’ train at the Lawrence Street-MetroTech station.

The suspect attacked the victim with a purse, causing a puncture wound to the victim’s chest before fleeing the scene at the Jay Street station.

The victim was transported to Cobble Hill Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a woman, last seen dressed in dark colored clothing, wearing sunglasses, and carrying a bag.
