Queens Man Broke Into 92-Year-Old Woman’s Home, Assaulted Her and Stole $100

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department, following an investigation, arrested 24-year-old Leo Hyun on Monday.

Hyun, a Queens resident, faces charges including Robbery, Burglary, and Unlawful Imprisonment.

The arrest is connected to an incident reported on Wednesday, January 3.

An unknown individual allegedly forced entry into a 92-year-old female’s residence in Queens, causing her minor injuries. The assailant, described as a medium-built male around 5’10” tall, engaged the victim in conversation before pushing her, entering the residence, and subsequently stealing her wallet containing credit cards and $100.

The NYPD continues to seek information and asks the public to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline with any relevant details.
