Queens, NY – Christian Inga has been indicted by a Queens County grand jury on charges that include predatory sexual assault, first-degree rape, and first-degree criminal sexual act, following an attack on a 13-year-old girl and her friend in June.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz stated that the indictment follows a nightmarish daytime attack in Kissena Park, Flushing, on June 13 at around 3:30 PM. Inga, armed with a machete-style knife, allegedly threatened and forced the children into a wooded area. He is accused of binding them, gagging them, and then raping and sexually assaulting the girl.

The defendant, aged 25, from Waldron Street, faces a 16-count indictment. The charges include three counts of predatory sexual assault, first-degree rape, two counts each of first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual act, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
