QUEENS, NY – Jahvon Frazier, 31, from Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for an unprovoked murder and a separate assault. The announcement came on Thursday from the Queens District Attorney, Melinda Katz.

Frazier was found guilty by a jury on June 8 in Queens Supreme Court of murder in the second degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and assault in the second degree.

On the night of August 25, 2020, Frazier was captured on surveillance footage with a group of men at 14-30 Redfern Avenue.
