QUEENS, NY – A 61-year-old woman was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head in Queens, prompting a police investigation.
On Friday, at around 9:24 PM, authorities were called to 121 Avenue in the 113 Precinct following a 911 report of a person in need of aid. Upon arrival, officers discovered Natalie Coggins, unresponsive and unconscious.
Emergency Medical Services declared Coggins deceased at the scene. A person of interest has been taken into custody as the investigation continues.
