Teen Arrested For D.C. Robbery

Washington, D.C. – A suspect involved in a robbery in Southwest D.C. has been arrested, according to the D.C. Metro Police Department.

On Saturday at approximately 5:40 a.m., the victim was in the 500 block of C Street when the suspect approached and used force to take the victim’s property. Security personnel detained the suspect until police arrived. The victim was not injured.

Following an investigation, 18-year-old Mendoza Quetzy Carllota Nevaeh of Southeast D.C. was arrested and charged with robbery.
