Randallstown Man Accused of Abusing Multiple Children Extradited to Face Charges

RANDALLSTOWN, MD – A Randallstown man who was hiding out in Washington, D.C. to avoid justice has been returned to Baltimore County following his arrest last week

According to police, 57-year-old James Weems Jr. is now in the custody of Baltimore County authorities. Last week, an arrest warrant was issued for Weems after allegations surfaced that he sexually abused at least three children while working at a daycare facility located in Owings Mills.

“Weems faces several charges including second-degree assault, sex abuse of a minor as well as displaying obscene material to a minor. He is being held without bond. A bail review hearing is scheduled for Tuesday,” police said.
