Reading Police Investigating Weekend Shooting Incident

READING, PA – A shooting incident from over the weekend has caught the attention of the Reading Police.

The event transpired around 3 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Greenwich and Weiser Street.

Authorities were informed that a 20-year-old male, having been shot, sought treatment at Reading Hospital, although his current condition remains undisclosed.

Preliminary findings suggest the young man had been at a nearby house party and was shot as he was departing. There were claims of a dispute taking place before the gunfire.
