STAFFORD, VA — A 20-year-old man was arrested Thursday evening after performing “donuts” in a church parking lot in North Stafford and driving with a revoked license, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy B.E. Vaughn responded to Summit Presbyterian Church on Shelton Shop Road around 7:19 p.m. after receiving reports of a white Ford Mustang spinning in circles in the parking lot. The deputy later located the vehicle traveling on Garrisonville Road and stopped the driver on Barbara Ann Drive.

The investigation revealed that the driver’s license had been revoked following a prior DUI offense. The driver was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving and driving on a revoked license, authorities said.

The suspect was transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he is being held on a $2,000 bond. No injuries or damage were reported as a result of the incident.
