Repeat 7-Eleven Thief Arrested in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was arrested for repeatedly stealing from a 7-Eleven store in Northwest Washington, D.C., according to the D.C. Metro Police Department.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Malik Bristol of Northwest D.C., was apprehended on Sunday, August 4, at approximately 8 a.m. after stealing items from the 7-Eleven located in the 4000 block of Georgia Avenue. Bristol faces charges of second-degree theft and resisting arrest.

Police stated that Bristol had previously targeted the same store on six other occasions:

  • June 10, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., stealing $10 in merchandise
  • July 14, 2024, at approximately 9 p.m., stealing $59 in merchandise
  • July 15, 2024, at approximately 8 a.m., stealing $60 in merchandise
  • July 16, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., stealing $40 in merchandise
  • July 20, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m., stealing $20 in merchandise
  • July 31, 2024, at approximately 8:15 a.m., stealing $86 in merchandise
