Repeat Violent Offender Arrested For Vicious Baltimore Stabbing

BALTIMORE, MD – On April 22, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a reported burglary in the 2900 block of Edmondson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 36-year-old male with apparent stab wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators determined the victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect, who then produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Detectives identified the suspect as 35-year-old Calvin Moore, a repeat violent offender.

On Thursday, officers arrested Moore and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
