Reward Offered for Arrest in Weekend Lanham Murder Case

LANHAM, MD – The Prince Georges Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday night in Lanham. According to police, the victim was 19-year-old Carlos Murillo-Guevara of Lanham. 

“On April 15, 2022, at approximately 8:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the 6000 block of Seabrook Road for a report of a shooting.  They discovered the victim on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene,” the department said. “Detectives are actively working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.”

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
