RICHMOND, VA – Detectives from the Richmond Police Department are continuing to investigate a shooting that took place on Wednesday around 11:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard.
Police officers responded to the scene after receiving multiple reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim who had been shot. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police department has yet to release further details about the incident or the victim.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
