Ridgely Woman Arrested for Assault and Reckless Endangerment in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On April 8, at approximately 2 am, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers responded to an assault report in the 800 block of Center Street.

The victim alleged that Jessica Tamere Harris, 33, of Ridgely, had assaulted them. Upon arrival, officers observed injuries on the victim that were consistent with the claims. Harris was arrested and transported to CPD for processing.

Following her initial appearance before a Court Commissioner, she was turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on no bond. Harris faces charges of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
