Robbery Reported on South Sherman Street

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Officers were dispatched to a residence on South Sherman Street following a robbery report on Tuesday at 6:38 PM. A 23-year-old female victim reported that she was retrieving a delivered package while holding her Apple iPhone when the incident occurred.

The suspect, described as a white male in his mid-20s, approached the victim on her porch and forcibly removed her phone before fleeing the scene.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. Authorities have not yet identified the suspect or made any arrests.
