Robbery Spree Ends in Arrest of Lancaster Man

LANCASTER, PA – East Hempfield Twp. Police recently arrested Jeffrey A. Boyer, a 60-year-old Lancaster resident, following two armed robberies.

The incidents occurred early on Monday, at Turkey Hill and Speedway on Columbia Ave.

Boyer reportedly entered Turkey Hill at 6:30 AM, brandishing a rifle and demanding cash. Shortly after, a similar robbery was reported at Speedway.

At approximately 6:47 AM, while police were investigating at Turkey Hill, Boyer returned to the scene in a white Chevrolet van and was apprehended.

A rifle was found in Boyer’s vehicle. He faces charges including Robbery, Terroristic Threats, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Boyer, unable to post the $150,000 bail set by MDJ Chudzik, was remanded to Lancaster County Prison.
