Robbery suspect forced victim at gunpoint to make ATM withdrawal

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD – Police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday at the Shell Station located at 724 Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights. The incident took place at around 2:00 p.m. when the suspect, a black male in his mid-20s, approached the victim and demanded money. When the victim informed the suspect that he had no cash on him, the suspect lifted his shirt to reveal the grip of a handgun, intimidating the victim.

Under threat, the victim was directed to the gas station’s ATM, where he withdrew money and handed it over to the suspect. The suspect then left the store on foot in an unknown direction. Police were informed of the robbery approximately two hours after it occurred.

Northern District detectives are actively investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (410) 222-6135 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at (410) 222-4700. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, last seen wearing a black jacket, blue tank top, and black pants. He is considered armed and dangerous.
