Two suspects are wanted after a Queens store theft escalated into an assault that left two men injured and the pair fleeing in a Honda Accord.
Queens, NY – A dispute at a Hillside Avenue business ended with a 71-year-old man struck by a thrown can and punched as a man and woman accused of stealing an iPhone charger pushed past him and ran, according to the NYPD.
The robbery happened Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at about 9:00 p.m. inside a commercial establishment at 138-19 Hillside Avenue, within the confines of the 107th Precinct. Investigators said an unidentified male and an unidentified female, acting in concert, removed an iPhone charger and exited the location before being confronted.

Confrontation turned physical at the door

NYPD said the 71-year-old victim confronted both individuals as they left. During the confrontation, the unidentified male threw a can of Red Bull at the older man, police said, and both suspects punched him.
A second victim, a 31-year-old man, was also punched by the unidentified male, according to investigators.
The 71-year-old victim reported pain and bruising to his chin. The 31-year-old victim sustained a laceration to his lip, police said.
Getaway vehicle described as dark Honda Accord
After the assault, the pair fled in a dark-colored Honda Accord in an unknown direction, according to the NYPD.
