Robbery Thwarted at Glen Burnie Walgreens, Suspects Apprehended

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A robbery at a Walgreens on Crain Highway was interrupted by police on November 1. Officers detained three individuals following a traffic stop after a store manager reported the incident.

At 8:06 p.m., an officer on a routine check noticed two individuals in masks exiting the Walgreens at the 7900 block with duffel bags. The store manager pursued the suspects, indicating a robbery had taken place.

Police stopped a Nissan SUV near Crain Hwy and Route 97, detaining Michael Anthony Prosper, 39, of Glen Burnie, MD; William Russell Schlick, 23, of Halethorpe, MD; and Carl Antonio Hunter, 56, of Baltimore, MD. The suspects allegedly threatened the manager during the robbery before fleeing. They were charged and held at Central Booking.
