Rockville man arrested for armed robberies at two 7-Eleven stores

GAITHERSBURG, Md. – A Rockville man has been arrested and charged in connection with two armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Montgomery County, police announced Friday.

Christopher Huser, 36, was identified as the suspect in robberies that occurred on November 26 and November 28, 2024. In both incidents, Huser allegedly entered the stores, displayed a handgun, and stole cash and merchandise.

The first robbery took place at a 7-Eleven in the 3500 block of University Boulevard, while the second occurred two days later at a 7-Eleven in the 13200 block of Atlantic Avenue. Authorities noted similarities between the two crimes during their investigation.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division identified Huser as the suspect and arrested him without incident on January 8, 2025, in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.

Huser is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.

The arrest brings closure to a series of armed robberies that alarmed local businesses and residents.
