MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Sawsan Al Hadidi, 42, of Rockville, has been charged with obstruction of justice and bribery.

Al Hadidi is accused of attempting to bribe an Assessment Social Worker from Montgomery County Child Welfare Services (CWS).

The CWS employee had been assigned to investigate claims of sexual abuse against a child, initiated by Al Hadidi herself.

On Wednesday, July 26, Al Hadidi offered a large amount of cash as a gift to the investigator, who refused and reported the incident.

A warrant was subsequently issued, and Al Hadidi has been summoned to appear in court.
