Roommate Dispute Turns Violent in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Friday, at around 9:30 am, officers from the Northern District responded to a reported assault at a residence on Washington Avenue in Glen Burnie.

It appears a dispute between two roommates escalated when one produced a knife, leading to the assault.

The victim, suffering minor injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Leonard Lawrence Welsh, 42, a resident of Glen Burnie, was arrested on the scene.
