Route 287 Partially Closed Due to Crash in Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A collision on Route 287 resulted in the closure of one lane, causing traffic disruptions on Saturday, November 4. The incident occurred in the southbound lanes just south of Exit 35 at approximately 5:05 p.m.

511.org traffic monitoring systems showed moderate delays due to the lane closure.

Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes or expect delays while traveling through the area. Emergency services were on site, and efforts were underway to clear the roadway and restore normal traffic flow.

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
