Roxbury Man Arrested for Drug Distribution During Warrant Search

BOSTON, MA – On Friday, at approximately 1:05 PM, members of the District C-6 (South End) Drug Control Unit arrested Luis Perez, 37, of Roxbury, following the execution of a search warrant at his residence on Seaver Street in Roxbury.

Officers placed the suspect in custody without incident after recovering a loaded 9mm Glock model 22 handgun with 14 rounds of ammunition, multiple plastic bags containing a total of 54 grams of crack cocaine, 11 grams of fentanyl, and $2,523 in U.S. Currency.

Perez will appear in Roxbury District Court on multiple charges, including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Trafficking Fentanyl, and Trafficking Crack Cocaine. The arrest is part of the ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to target drug and firearm offenses in the area.
