Schenectady man arrested in Victory Avenue stabbing; police seek vehicle linked to case

SCHENECTADY, NY — A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred last week on Victory Avenue, the Schenectady Police Department announced Wednesday.

Travis Telemaque was taken into custody on July 23 and charged with first-degree assault, a Class B felony, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The stabbing took place on July 17. Police say the investigation remains ongoing and are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle believed to be connected to the crime. The vehicle is described as a black 2014 BMW 535 four-door sedan with New York registration LER 7019.
